"It's Not About Me" Week is the eighth episode of Season 1 of Bratz: The Series.

It was adapted into a book, "It's Not About Me" Week.

Plot[]

Cloe announces Stiles High's "It's Not About Me Week" to help the students to think about others more than themselves. Cloe is a radio host for a radio show for teens with Kirstee, Jade is giving Roberta a makeover to impressed a boy she likes, Yasmin teaches Dylan self-defence to defend himself and Sasha tries to teach Kaycee to drive.

Synopsis[]

Yasmin chases down a thief after he steals her purse. She manages to get it back when he dumps it after taking out her wallet.

She tells her friends what happened the next day at school. Dylan brags that he wouldn't of let the thief take her wallet and would have beat him up. Cloe, who is Stiles High student body president, announces that it's "It's Not About Me" week, a week to help and think about others. Kirstee shoots a spit ball at Yasmin who dodges, letting it hit Rock instead.

Rock gets angry and begins marching around the cafeteria. Dylan, who is practicing his karate moves accidentally kicks Rock in the face. He attacks Dylan and Yasmin jumps in and punches him in the stomach. Rock tells Dylan he is dead meat as soon as he recovers from Yasmin's punch.

To help others Cloe volunteers at K9 Radio's teen hotline and Yasmin signs up for double shifts at her pet rescue group, The Pet Protectors. Jade overhears Roberta ranting about the guy she likes not noticing her. She offers to give her a makeover and Roberta agrees.

To her horror Cloe finds out she will be working the teen hotline show with Kirstee. A listener calls in to confide in Cloe and Kirstee after finding out her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend. Whilst Cloe gives good advice, Kirstee suggests telling everyone her best friend has underarm zits. Another caller tells the girls he wrecked his father's car and was scared to tell him. Kirstee tells him to ditch the car and pretend it was stolen.

Sasha is asked by Principal Affleck to give driving lessons to the worst driver in the school. She agrees before finding out she will be teaching Kaycee to drive. Kaycee almost hits someone, runs over traffic cones and almost hits a wall.

Jade takes Roberta shopping and gives her a makeover although she ends up looking like a double of Jade. Yasmin and Jade teach her how to walk in heels and how to talk to guys. Meanwhile Kirstee and Cloe ending up fighting in the radio booth when Kirstee calls a caller a loser and hangs up on him.

Bored of the parking lot Kaycee decides to drive Sasha's car on the freeway and almost crashes into a lorry. Cloe ends up crying everyday after hearing the stories about her callers sad lives and Yasmin offers to teach Dylan some self defence so he can protect himself from brock.

Roberta turns up at school as her old self, confusing Jade. Roberta angrily tells her the guy she's crushing on only liked the old her and thought the makeover made her too stylish for him.

Yasmin runs into the thief who stole her wallet at the smoothie bar and chases him down. Whilst running away from Rock, Dylan accidentally trips over a chair and knocks the thief to the ground, pleasing Yasmin. Upon seeing what Dylan did to the thief Rock decides to leave him alone.

Jade apologies to Roberta, who tells Jade that guy she likes, revealed to be Rock, though Roberta must be "waco" to have a makeover so he asked her out. The two walk away together.

Whilst Sasha is setting out cones for Kaycee's driving lesson she speeds of onto the highway. Sasha chases after her and demand's she pull over. Kaycee calls into K9 Radio and asks for advice dealing with a bossy backseat driver. She crashes into a trash can, a ladder and runs over a fire hydrant before crashing into Burdine's car. Burdine gets out and chases Kaycee away. As a punishment Sasha is banned from driving her parents car for 3 months.
