Bratz Design Academy is a Bratz themed reality competition show that premiered on Nickelodeon 24th October 2008.
It was presented by Zoe Salmon.
Announcement
Bratz Design Academy was announced to the presses in July 2008. It promised a reality competition show for kids aged 9 to 14-years-old. The program would run for 6 weeks and feature teams of youngsters taking part in fashion challenges, with their efforts being appraised by a panel of well-known figures. Each week a contestant was eliminated until with the eventual winners travelling to Los Angeles to help work on the latest line of Bratz dolls for the UK market.[1]
It was backed by a print and online advertising campaign.
Awards
The series was nominated for a bafta in the Children's Entertainment category.[2]
