The following Wiki Rules and Blocking Policy have been created to ensure that all good faith contributors have the opportunity to contribute and add to the wellbeing of the wiki and community. All contributors are required to follow it.
Before contributing to the wiki please read all the rules as well as:
General
- When new content is released, do not hastily make a stub just to be the first contributor to that page. You are expected to finish the work you started and make sure the page is presentable and in compliance with these guidelines.
Etiquette
- No matter where you are writing, do not use the wiki as a tool to insult, attack, or threaten other users. When discussing opinions, keep it civil and rational.
- Since Bratz was originally a brand targeted towards children we ask you to keep the content, including images, videos, and text, user-friendly. No swearing or content of obscene nature.
- Please don't edit articles in a biased way. Removing, vandalizing, altering or editing articles of relationships, media, lines or characters you don't like is not appropriate and should not be done.
Canon
- Blogs and Discussion posts must be kept on-topic, with no fan-fiction, fan-art, fan-videos, fan-characters, etc. This is a canon wiki, not a fanon one.
Sources
- When adding information to the wiki that is not widely known, you must supply sources or you risk your edits being deleted.
User Pages
- Your user page, like any other page on the wiki, must adhere to global Fandom policy.
- Do not edit other users talk pages. If there is a problem with another users talk page report it to a admin.
- Do not harass other users. If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall or user talk page, respect their wishes. It is their space.
Promotion
- Do not engage in excessive self-promotion. The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the Bratz brand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc.
Blocking Policy
Users may be blocked on this wiki for the following reasons:
- Recurring vandalism or spamming
- Recurring harassment, including hounding, personal or legal threats, posting of personal information, repeated messaging and ignoring their request to be left alone
- Continual edit warring
- Making a personal attack on another user
- Sockpuppetry
Blocks will begin at 24 hours and will increase depending on the number of offenses and type of offense. If you feel you have been blocked unfairly, you can reach out to an administrator.
