Bratz in Ragland

Bratz in Ragland (also known as Paris III) is episode 22 of season 1 of Bratz: The Series.

It was later released along with the two previous episodes as Bratz: Go to Paris the Movie.

Plot

The girls suspect that Elemina has been framed, and that someone else is behind the poisonings. Jade and Cloe become victims, while Sasha and Yasmin struggle to keep their cover during Jean Paul's fashion show. Too weak to fight, Cloe and Jade enlist the help of their friends to save them and uncover the antidote before time runs out.

Summary

Sasha, Jade, Cloe and Yasmin watch the news and learn not only was Elemina arrested for attacking the models but Burdine had taken all of the credit for her capture. Byron is furious, they weren't supposed to publicly reveal Elemina's arrest until they found out how to reverse the aging effect and confirm she had no accomplices. Byron searches the room and finds a pink 'bug' (listening devices) planted on Yasmin's laptop. Knowing Kaycee and Kirstee are often spying on them on Burdine's orders, the girls know that they told Burdine about Elemina's arrest.

They confront Kaycee and Kirstee. Kaycee makes up a lie that they overheard Jean-Paul talking on the phone about Elemina's arrest at the party. The Bratz ask how they got into the party without an invite. Kaycee tells them how she climbed up a balcony and hid in the bathroom to escape a security guard. There she saw a masked figure put poison in a water bottle. Kaycee states this happened just before dessert was served at 10pm. Jade heard Jean-Paul and Elemina fighting at 10pm, meaning Elemina couldn't have been the one who poisoned the water and attacked Kaycee.

Roxxi invites Sasha out to lunch to talk to her about Cruise. Roxxi wants Sasha to hear Cruise out, but she refuses, believing he is dating Aloncé. Meanwhile Byron allows Yasmin to talk to Elemina who protests her innocence. Yasmin notes that Elemina is left handed, but Yasmin remembers the mask attacker using their right hand for everything. Byron thinks there's too much evidence for it not to be Elemina so the girls start their own investigation.

Cloe bumps into Cameron. She asks him to help with her investigation but Cameron tells her he has plans with Nicole. Jean-Paul wants to replace Nicole with Jade as his top model, believing her to have a more unique look. Jade shares her news with the girls who's investigations have come up empty. Nicole phones Jade to tell her that Jean-Paul is having another breakdown and has requested her help with his designs. She agrees to go help him.

Sasha avoids Cruise's numerous attempts to get in contact with her and instead turns her attention to punching a punching bag with his face tapped to it. Yasmin arrives with Dylan and tells the girls that in her investigation she's found that whoever becomes Jean-Paul's top model is always the next one attacked. Knowing Jade is next, they rush to Jean-Pauls.

Jade arrives at Jean-Pauls mansion and talks with Nicole while they wait. Nicole tells Jade that when Bridget became top model, she was attacked. She was replaced by Simone, who was also attacked and then Monique. She tells Jade she believes its a curse. Jade starts to feel sick and attempts to leave but collapses when she tries to stand. She turns into an old woman, realising too late that Nicole was the true attacker and has poisoned Jade's water. Nicole reveals that she framed Elemina, because she didn't want to pay agent commission. She locks Jade in Jean-Paul's attic and leaves her to rot.

Jean-Paul has another breakdown once he realises Jade has not arrived to walk in his show. Nicole confronts him. Sasha and Yasmin distract Jean-Paul whilst Cloe searches for Jade using her transmitter. She finds her in the attic but is attacked by Nicole who forces poisoned water into her open mouth. Nicole tells Cloe that Cameron never stops talking about her but with Cloe gone she'll be his completely.

Nicole tells Jean-Paul that Jade has food poisoning from eating bad American food and sneaks Cloe and Jade out of the house whilst he's distracted with the show. Luckily Cloe leaves behind a message letting them know that Nicole is guilty and planning to throw them from a plane using the secret ink pens Byron gave them.

Nicole tries to drive Cloe and Jade to the airport but finds her car is our of fuel. She takes the hand break off and pushes the car down a hill with Cloe and Jade still inside. Yasmin manages to get into the car but finds the breaks have been cut. She grabs Cloe and Jade and jumps out the car as it crashes over a cliffside. She clicks her boots which turn into rocket boots and flies the girls to safety.

Sasha confronts Nicole in the woods and the two fight. As Sasha is about to lose, Cloe, Jade and Yasmin arrive and stop Nicole. She is arrested and the antidote is given to the poisoned models.

Cruise tells Sasha that he and Aloncé were just friends talking about putting an album together and the tabloids got it all wrong. They make up.

The show goes on successfully and the girls decided to celebrate being best friends by having a good old fashioned sleepover.

Trivia

  • It is unknown who voices Nicole and Jean-Paul since both roles are uncredited.
  • Aloncé and London Milton make an appearance at the end of the movie, walking the runway at the victory show.
  • In Bratz: Genie Magic the villain is part of an organisation called the Evil Scientist Association, who known for creating evil toxins. Since Evil toxins are used by Nicole to poison the models its very likely that Nicole is part of the ESA.
