Burnice Maxwell

Burnice Maxwell is a Bratz TV character that first appears in the Season One episode, New Kid In Town.

She appears in few episodes of the TV series and one book.

History[]

Burnice was born and raised in Stilesville.

In Video Game Starz, we learn Burnice married a man from Rockwater Springs and that Prudence is her daughter. Presumably Burnice and Prudence's father are divorced as Burnice now lives back with her mother, Burnadette.

Burnice is president, CEO and chairwoman of Everything Cosmetics and the self proclaimed Reigning Queen of Beauty. She has an advertising contract with Your Thing Magazine, although she calls it "a pathetic excuse for a magazine".

When Burnice first appears in the episode New Kid in Town, Kaycee and Kirstee mistake her for Burdine and run away screaming when she compliments them. They later attack Burnice, suspecting her to be an alien.

Burnice and Burdine are invited to interview for Entertainment Stilesville, but it goes horribly wrong when the Tweevils put itching powder in Burdine's clothes. Burnice and Burdine end up fighting, ending the interview abruptly.

She later helps Burdine plan the Super-Secret Ultra Pink Twin Power Appreciation Fest, an appreciation party for Kaycee and Kirstee where Burdine chooses to ignore they stupidity for one night. When Sasha and Jade break into Burdine's apartment pretending to be ghosts, she helps give them a forced makeover.

She makes her final on-screen appearance in the episode Inner Beauty Queen. She and Burdine are headed to a family reunion but must leave their pets behind because their mother is allergic to animals. They leave Sweetie and Royale in the care of Kaycee and Kirstee.

Burnice has long blonde hair, always worn in a neat bun. She has a long pointed chin and nose, blue eyes and creamy white skin. In season two her hair is changed to strawberry blonde.

According to Burdine she has a scar from a face lift.

Style[]

Burnice originally wears a dark pink blazer skirt suit with heels and a tiara. In season two, her suit color is changed to red.

Personality[]

Burnice appears to be nice and friendly, though she does have a rivalry with her sister and dislikes her constant bragging. She treats Kaycee and Kirstee better than anyone else does.

Burnice has an identical twin sister, Burdine. They are very competitive and always try to one up each other.

Burnice has a daughter, Prudence.

According to Burdine, their mother prefers her to Burnice. In the episode Inner Beauty Queen, they go to a family reunion and have to leave their dogs behind due to their mother being allergic to animals.

Burnice has a pet dog named Sweetie.

Kirstee and Kaycee[]

Burnice is a lot nicer to the twins than Burdince. She calls them sweetie and compliments their shoes, although she does call them 'atrociously trained' but this comment subtly blames Burdine for their poor work ethic. Although she is in no place to give orders, she gives the girls the entire week off from work, until this is revoked by Burdine. In season 2, she helps Burdine throw them a surprise party.

Sasha and Jade[]

Burnice helps Burdine and the Tweevils give Sasha and Jade a forced makeover when they break into Burdine's apartment pretending to be ghosts. She doesn't seem to hate the Bratz like Burdine, she just doesn't like people breaking into her sisters apartment.

Trivia[]

Burnice is comes from the personal name Burnhouse, derived from the words burn, meaning "stream," and house.
After 17 years, it is revealed in Episode 5 of Bratz: Video Game Starz that she is Prudence's mother.
