Fabulous Friends

My friends and I are true friends - we stick together through thick and thin! We all have totally fabulous nicknames. - Nazalia

My friends call me "Butterfly". It's because I'm always flitting around from one thing to the next!

Talia goes by "Superstar" because she loves to be in the spotlight, just like a star!

We called Ailani "Cherrie" because she's as sweet as can be!

And Zada is also known as "Sweetheart" because she's so nice to everyone!

Making New Friends

Making new friends is so much fun! I remember when I met Zada for the first time. She was new to the neighborhood. One day after school, I was heading home from the movie theater with Ailani and Nazalia, and we were laughing about a totally hilarious scene from this terrific movie we had just seen. Zada looked up, totally scared that we were laughing at her!

"We were just talking about the crazy new comedy at the multiplex," I told her. "Have you seen it?"

"The one about the four friends who switch personalities?" she asked. "It totally rocked!"

"You are so right!" I said. "I'm Talia, by the way. And these are my friends, Ailani and Nazalia."

"I'm Zada," she told us.

I smiled. "Great to meet you! You seem super cool. Maybe we'll see you around at school."

"That would be great!" said Zada. "I would love to get to know you all."

It turned out once we got to know Zada better, we found out that she shares our passion for fun and fashion. The four of us have been best friends ever since!

Zada has a riddle for her friends!

"They're colorful?" Talia guesses.
"You're always happy to see them," says Ailani.
"I know!" Nazalia chimes in. "They both clash with plaid!"
Zada laughs. "You're all right, but none of you came up with the answer I'm looking for..."

Friends + Parties = Fun

Ailani loves slumber parties because you get to stay up late with your friends and see them at breakfast, nazalia loves movie parties to see glamorous movie stars in all the latest hot fashions, Zada loves bowling parties since striking out is a good thing, and Talia loves beach parties for swimming in the ocean, wearing funky fresh shades and lounging.
