Roberta

Roberta is a Bratz TV character that appears in Season One episode, "It's Not About Me" Week and the book of the same name. She is voiced by Pamela Adlon.

Although Roberta only has two official appearance she can often be seen walking around the school and in classrooms in episodes of the TV series and some of the movies.

History[]

Roberta lives in Stilesville and attends Stiles High.

"It's Not About Me Week"[]

Roberta is first seen taking her anger out on a punching bag in the school gym angrily mumbling that the guy she likes, Rock, does not pay any attention to her. Jade overhears Robert's rant and offers to give her a makeover to which Roberta agrees.

They go shopping for new clothes and Jade gives her a makeover, teaches her how to walk in heels and how to talk to a guy on a date. Roberta goes to see Rock to show him her makeover. He tells Roberta he hated the new her and the only reason he'd never asked her out before was because he thought she was too hot for him. Now with her makeover he feels she's too "stylish" and "stuck up" for him.

Upset, Roberta changes her style back to how she looked before. When Jade confronts her, Roberta tells her what happened with Rock and tearfully tells Jade she hates her.

However, Rock later decides Roberta must be crazy for getting such an extreme makeover, so he asks her out. The two begin dating at the end of the episode/book and Roberta thanks Jade for her help.

Described as a "biker chick" by Jade, Roberta sports spiked black hair with multi-colored streaks, gothic makeup, and a peace sign tattooed on her left arm.

Style[]

Her outfit consists of a black turtleneck tank, low-rise ripped flared jeans, and grey work boots, accompanied by abstract spiky silver earrings. When Jade asked her how she described her style, Roberta said "Um, black leather, spikes, you know, kinda like the girl next door."

Personality[]

Roberta is not afraid to be honest with the way she carries herself. She still openly burps, pops her gum very loudly, and chugs her smoothie. Roberta is very determined.

Rock[]

Roberta had a crush on Rock, but despite her efforts to attract him by getting a new toe ring and changing her hair, he paid no attention to her. After getting a makeover to try and get Rock's attention he revealed that he returned Roberta's feeling never asked her out because he thought she was too hot for him and now, after her makeover, she was too stylish and "stuck up like" for him. However, Rock later decides Roberta must be crazy for getting such an extreme makeover, so he asks her out. The two begin dating after Roberta begins to look like herself again.

Yasmin[]

Roberta seems to not mind Yasmin; she smiles at her and is friendly and polite. Yasmin on the other hand is often horrified by Roberta's eating and drinking habits.

Jade[]

Roberta seems to like Jade, although she does find her way of dressing and acting a little odd. The two bond when Jade gives Roberta a makeover and although it doesn't go exactly as planned, Jade's plan ultimately does help Roberta get the guy she likes to ask her out.
