Slumber Party is the fourth episode of season 1 of Bratz the Series.

Synopsis

After Cameron cancels on their study date, the girls decided to spend the night together rockin' out at Cloe's pad. As their perfect night of carefully researched activities unfolds, several unexpected twists and turns challenge their best-laid plans.

Plot

Cloe and Cameron go biking together. They have plans to study after, but Cameron cancels to hang out with Dylan, who is upset after being stood up by a girl. Cloe is very upset about the cancellation and speeds away on her bike. She goes to the mall with Sasha, where she rants about Cameron. Since Cloe's parents are out for the weekend, they have a sleepover to cheer Cloe up.

Kaycee and Kirstee overhear the Bratz conversation and tell Burdine, who orders them to spy on the sleepover, and find out the plans for the next issue of Bratz magazine. She gives the Tweevils a pair of pink pump spy shoes, leftover from when Burdine worked for the International Fashion Police.

At the sleepover, Sasha tells the Bratz she researched the best sleepover activities to ensure that the Bratz have the most fun. The Bratz start with dancing and then play a game of Pictionary, in which it takes the Bratz a while to guess that Cloe is drawing Burdine correctly.

The Tweevils arrive and begin spying on the Bratz. Kaycee climbs to Cloe's bedroom window just as the Bratz are playing a game of 'Pin the Bandage on Kaycee's Nose,' a twist on the classic 'Pin the Tail on the Donkey' game. When Cloe shuts the window after Jade gets a little chilly, Kaycee falls. Cloe hears the noise, but the other girls play it off as her imagination.

The Bratz have a runway show, play around with Cloe's costumes (Cowboy hats), and then make Pizza. As the Bratz (Sasha, Jade, and Cloe) get ready to head back upstairs, the Bratz hear creaky footsteps and hide under the table. The sound turns out to be Yasmin, wearing an organic face mask. Kaycee attempts to climb up to the window a second time but is knocked back when Yasmin opens the window to let some air in.

For their next activity, the Bratz perform a séance. Kirstee climbs up the window and whispers to the Bratz, making them think it's a ghost talking to them. The Bratz get scared and scream, and Kirstee laughs before falling from the window. Sasha asked the Bratz who made that threatening voice, and none of them did it.

Kirstee catapults Kaycee into Cloe's front door, which was open after pushing it. The Tweevils sneak inside and are kicked down the stairs by Cloe, who believes them to be a burglar. However, the Tweevils lie about just stopping by, and the Bratz agree to let the Tweevils stay until Kaycee's nose stops hemorrhaging.

For the next sleepover activity, the Bratz give themselves makeovers. Kaycee and Kirstee want to gossip and tell the Bratz that Burdine washes her food four times in soda water before eating to make sure it's not poisoned, colors her hair in with a highlighter, shaves her feet, and eats baby birds, which grossed all four Bratz out.

The Bratz hear another noise and think it's Cameron, Dylan, and Eitan pranking them. So the Bratz sneak downstairs and throw a blanket over Burdine, mistaking her for the boys. But as the Bratz are tackling the blanket, Cameron appears at the door, telling Cloe Eitan took over on 'Dylan Cheer-Up Duty' and that he had come to help her study.

The blanket falls, revealing Burdine angrily dragging Kaycee and Kirstee from the house by their ears. Cameron offers to help Cloe study, but she tells him she is having a slumber party and postpones the study date. The Bratz playfully hit Cameron with pillows when he offers to join the Bratz.

Trivia

  • The Bratz pajamas are based on the Nighty-Nite collection (Jade and Cloe are wearing pieces of Fianna's outfit instead of their own.)
  • A rare occasion the Tweeviles wear a different outfit to their standard pink dress and platform pumps.
  • The first episode in which Dylan does not appear, although he is mentioned.
  • Eitan is mentioned, but does not appear.
  • Roxxi can be seen on the TV when the girls are watching their So Good music video. This marks the first unofficial appearance of Roxxi in the Bratz television series.
  • Several Bratz Petz characters can be see in Cloe's bedroom as stuffed animals. At 5:44, Brigitte and Abby can be see on Cloe's bed and at 5:30, Carly can be seen sitting on top of Cloe's bookshelf.
  • When the girls make Pizza, Cloe pours milk into the bowl. Pizza is not typically made with milk.
