The Life Of Byron is the 16th episode of Season 2 of Bratz: The Series.

Plot[]

When Byron invites the Bratz to London for an awards bash, they quickly find it's a trap - Byron's been kidnapped by another Byron. A villain has had plastic surgery to look just like him and now it's up to the Bratz to figure out which one is bad, which one is good!

Synopsis[]

Cloe is invited to the Dutchess' birthday ball and asks the girls to help her pick an outfit to wear. Meanwhile Byron video calls Jade to tell the girls to watch the news. Entertain Report, a news program, reports that Byron Powell is set to win the "Platinum T-Shirt Award" presented by men's fashion magazine, T-Shirt Monthly.

A gala award show is being held the next day in London and Byron invites the girls to come. Cloe says they can attend the award show and halfway through she can leave to attend the Duchess' Birthday Party, as Yasmin, Sasha and Jade haven't been invited. Sasha thinks the awards is lame and doesn't really feel like going, but Cloe says he's done a lot for them, reminding them he gave them their first big break as musicians.

The girls remember when Byron let them perform as Rock Angelz at his concert in place of Crash, trained them to be secret agents and gave them special gadgets. Sasha reminds them that he also played tricks on them using a fake hitchhiker on the America Rocks reality show. She doesn't believe that Byron's gala award show is real and think he's most likely trying to get them to do some sort of spy work again. However, as the trip is free Sasha agrees to go to London for the magazine.

The girls arrive in London and head to their hotel to meet Byron. He leads them down to the basement where he locks them inside a prison cell. As his henchmen attempt to knock the girls out with stun guns a second Byron enters the room and attacks the first Byron, causing the henchmen to drop their sticks. The girls fight off the henchmen and then surround the two Byron's.

The Byron's both claim they are the real Byron and the other is an enemy agent. There is a timer set to self-district in 20 minutes and only the real Byron knows how to disarm it, so the girls have to be quick to find the real Byron.

They decided to interview the Byron's by asking them questions only the real Byron would know. First, Yasmin asks Byron #1 how they first met. He says they met in London. However, Byron #2 is able to tell the girls that he got them into the Pinz club as a thanks for saving his dog, Ozzy. The girls are confused, but Sasha points out as it was a public event it would be easy to find these facts out.

Sasha asks Byron #1 what the most hair-raising situation they've been in on one of their missions. Byron tells them about the time he fell asleep in the same bed as Burdine, an event that disgusted him. Byron #2 chimes in that the most shelf-shocking was the time Kon blew up a bridge he was driving on, causing cars to crash into Byron and knock him out.

Byron #1 brings up the time he was knocked unconscious, but the girls are quick to point out that weren't around for any 3 of the hair-raising situations and can't confirm if they really happened. Byron #1 says he was abducted and attached to a brain wave scanning machine that copied his memories so that Byron #2 can pretend to be him. Cloe asks about the henchmen. Byron #1 tells Cloe they are Drovakian agents, who previously tried to steal Byron's invisibility formula.

Since both Byron's share the same memories it's impossible to find out which one is the real Byron by asking them questions. Cloe realizes she is going to be late for the ball and begins freaking out. Whilst the girls are distracted Byron #2 attacks Byron #1. They start to fight while the girls assure Cloe everything will be okay.

The girls break up the fight when suddenly a second Cloe appears, identical to the first. Byron #2 tells Cloe he has created a Drovakian replacement Cloe, who is going to be his date to the Dutchess' birthday ball where he intends to kidnap the Dutchess' and the Windsor Smith Diamond she'll be wearing.

Byron #2 tells them they can't stop him and calls them silly little girls. Jade recalls a time when Liam, a race car driver turned jewel thief, called her the same thing just as Jade was about to beat him in the final Vacudor 500 race. Jade tells Byron #2 she knows he's Liam and he confesses she is right. Somehow, he has escaped from Prison.

The real Byron, reveals that he and Liam are brothers, and their father is a head minister of international security. His father hired him to protect the Duchess tonight and trusted Byron with his most important spy jobs whilst Liam was pushed aside. This caused Liam to be angry and jealous of his brother. Drovakian agents broke Liam out of prison and sent him to the best plastic surgeons in Luxenstein. Since Liam cannot win his father's favor, he cooked up an evil plan to pretend to be Byron and kidnap the duchess, thus making their father think Byron did something bad. Liam orders fake Cloe to take down the girls.

The Cloe's get mixed up and confused as to who the real Cloe is they back them into a corner with their stun guns as Byron and Liam fight. Sasha says they should pick the levelheaded Cloe and the fake Cloe is quick to point out she is calm, cool and collected, which isn't like the real Cloe at all. Since fake Cloe doesn't have real Cloe's memories, they decide to interrogate them.

Sasha asks the Cloes which one of them got out of the underground pixie lair first. As fake Cloe thinks of an answer, real Cloe points out she doesn't know the answer because she wasn't there. Sasha shocks fake Cloe who the fake Byron (Liam) orders to self-destruct, revealing Fake Cloe was actually a robot. Since fake Cloe was a clone, Cloe is able to use her own fingerprint to deactivate the bomb, saving the day.

Byron thanks the girls and takes Liam back to jail.

Trivia[]

  • Sasha and Cloe mention the events of Fashion Pixiez.
  • In the Bratz 500 Byron fails to ever mention that Liam is his brother, but in this episode, he confesses that he is.
  • This is the third episode to be a clip show and some of the clips from previous episodes and films in the season one era are redubbed by the season two cast.
