Trading Faces is episode 9 of season 1 of the Bratz animated series.

Plot

Dylan dresses up a girl to see what Fianna is like in a guy and then acts on her suggestions as he calls himself "Delilah" to enter the dance contest.

Synopsis

Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin's friend Fianna flies in from Brazil to see them. As they hang out in the magazine office and take photos Fianna shares her plans to enter a dance contest as Club Mambo. Dylan comes to the office and attempts to impress Fianna by showing of his dance moves but ends up falling into a light. As he and Cameron leaves Dylan confides in his best friend that he's been having trouble with the ladies recently and Cameron tells him to think like a girl.

Sasha is also planning on entering the Club Mambo Dance Contest and when she finds out that Yasmin, Cloe and Jade will be helping her get ready for the contest she storms off.

Dylan meets Cameron at Stilesville Mall dressed as a girl, taking Cameron's advice to "think like a girl" literally. They bump into Fianna, Cloe, Yasmin and Jade and Cameron introduces them to "Delilah", Dylan's shy cousin. Dylan as Delilah begins chatting to Fianna about dancing and she encourages him to enter the dance contest. Delilah asks Fianna to teach her some dance moves and she agrees, inviting her to the magazine office to dance and read Bratz magazines.

At the mall Dylan as Delilah bumps into Byron Powell, who is in town to judge the Club Mambo Dance Contest. He finds Delilah very beautiful and invites her out for lunch to talk about her dance career. Kaycee and Kirstee overhear their conversation and decide to enter themselves in the Club Mambo Dance Contest so they can be in a music video if they win.

Dylan goes out to lunch with Byron but can't help but bumps into Fianna. As Delilah he finds out that Fianna likes guys who enjoy reading poetry and likes walks along the beach, so he changes out of Delilah's clothes and talks to Fianna as himself about poetry and walks along the beach.

Dylan changes back to his Delilah outfit to finish his date with Byron, then changes back to Dylan to say goodbye to Fianna and then back to Delilah to talk to Fianna about the dance contest. Fianna asks Delilah to the dance contest with her and to invite Dylan along.

At the magazine office Sasha is practicing for the dance contest but stops when her friends arrive and refuses to dance in front of them in case they tell Fianna about her moves. Fianna tries to teach Delilah to dance. Dylan is forced to keep switch back and forth between his own clothes and his Delilah outfit as the Bratz keep wondering where the both of them are.

Dylan goes to the dance contest with Fianna and wishes her good luck. He tells her Delilah dropped out due to stage fright and she begs him to convince her to reconsider.

The contest starts with round one, Sasha, Fianna and Delilah dance but when it comes to Kirstee and Kaycee they are too sore from working out all day in preparation for the contest and fall over on the stage. Kirstee and Kaycee are kicked out of the contest.

Byron announces round two is the final round. Whilst dancing on stage Delilah's wig and fake breasts, consisting of two coconuts, fall out and crash into the audience. The audience begins to laugh as the Bratz realize Delilah is Dylan.

Fianna is crowned the winner of the dance contest and Sasha throws her a party to celebrate. She apologises for pushing her friends away and they share a group hug.

Dylan tells Fianna he only dressed as Delilah to get to know what Fianna likes in a guy. Fianna admits she found Dylan sweet and agrees to go on a date with him that weekend before she flies home to Brazil.
